THE VINEYARD & WINERY
The 18-acre vineyard is the largest in Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk.
The well-drained soil is perfect for Mueller~Thurgau,
Huxelrebe, Ortega, Schoenburger and Siegerrebe which
all do well at Chilford. From Spring pruning, through
Summer flowering to harvest, the seasons are always
interesting in a vineyard.
Chilford's winemaker uses traditional methods with
modern thinking to make and blend the wines to retain
all the natural flavours and character of the grapes.
