The THEATRE ROYAL was built in
1819 by William Wilkins, the celebrated architect whose work includes the National
Gallery, London. It is one of the country's few surviving Georgian
playhouses and a beautiful setting for quality entertainment. The theatre is open to the public between 10am - 5pm except during performances.
